Canadian Heritage Seekers was founded in January of 1980 and has had a dedicated membership of TH'ers ever since. Over the years many faces have come and gone but several die hard members are still with us. Most of our members are actively involved in club hunts and other aspects of club life. Our members are well dispersed across the Niagara Penninsula but are never far when it comes to lending a hand to a fellow club member.

CLUB MEETINGS
The Canadian Heritage Seekers consist of approximately 25 members and is growing all the time. We come from varied backgrounds and from all age groups. Our meetings are held on the first Sunday of every month with the exception of July, August and September. We meet at the Coronation 50+ Centre, 5925 Summer Street (corner of Portage Rd.),Niagara Falls Ontario. You must enter from the parking lot entrance on Portage Road. January through March, the meetings are held at 2 P.M. and April through November at 7.30 P.M. In December we hold our Pot Luck Supper and Games Night at 6 P. M. (Lower Level Hall). Weather permitting,we have a Finds Of The Month board. Winners receive a small prize for their efforts. In addition we hold several "Finds Contests" throughout the year. In particular, the "Coin Challenge Contest" in which the club members are given clues to locate a metal object (with our name stamped on it),which is "buried" in the ground. The club member finding that item can then redeem it for a special collector coin or set.
OUR CLUB'S AIMS To help develop our hobby and gain the acceptance in the eye of the public, and do this while giving full consideration to others rights and privileges. To help develop a high interest in local history and the historical aspects of coins, relics and artifacts. To educate ourselves and the public on the practices of metal detecting as a recreational and conservational hobby. To gain knowledge from our fellow detectorists and to enhance the knowledge of others through experience and communication. To promote a healthy, wholesome family recreational hobby.
Membership runs from January to December. Annual dues must be paid by the March meeting if you wish to continue receiving the Club Newsletter or participate in Club activities.
Family dues are $30 Per year Singles dues are $20 Per year
